A Note from DamianDamian has been busy training for the past three months, and leaves for England on Wednesday 18th July. Here is his final letter to his friends and family before leaving:Hi People,
I leave Wednesday morning. I watched some athletics on SBS this morning. My own training has given me a lot of insight on to their own training. Once I get back it will be straight into training for the swimming carnival at the end of August, that will be interesting because I swim like a brick but they have taken it upon themselves to give me a crash course on how to swim, they are keen for some reason, don't ask me why. Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital made a big deal of me leaving on Friday, my second last day. I reckon they were just glad to get rid of me, and are probably hoping that England will keep me. Well there could be worse places to end up though I suppose. The next couple of days are going to be just going around saying good bye to every body, which will be good. Thats about it from me for now. I'll say goodbye for now and I will talk to you all when I'm back from the English country side. I will say hi to the Sherwood Forest for you, and all that :)
Love
